getting organized
I've been collecting Wiley stuff for months - pictures, reports on reunions, and memories. Some of it is stored on-line in space borrowed from my other blogs, some of it is in online photo albums. I intend to move it all here.

I left Terre Haute in 1970 and have never returned so your photos are a wonderful reminder of days gone by.
I attended Wiley for a year. Schulte before that. I recall a bank across the street from the high school and next to it a hardware store. Then there was a small alley and the house I lived in right next to a McDonalds. Do you know what is now located in that space?
The Terre Haute House was wonderful ! I recall going there at night with friends after dancing at The Loft (a little hang-out over a shoe store on Wabash Avenue). We would use the Terre Haute House bathroom and then go up a few floors and run around the halls making noise. We were never caught.
My first job was at the Terre Haute Savings bank at 6th and Ohio. Is that bulding still there?
